Joining The Jedi Order:

Valo was given to the Jedi Order by his mother at the age of 4, he was tested and then converted into a Youngling, and trained with about 5 other younglings in his class. He was a very bright boy and was gifted with the force in such a way he could achieve all his basic force powers before any other of his class mates and he was at the top of his class in no time, although eventually some of his class mates became jealous of his ability to use the force, He wisely spoke to them and saying, 'I cannot help but be able to use the force better than you, but can we still get along?'.

Valo made friends with his class mates once more and continued training until he moved on to the second term of the Youngling, when he was 8 he was placed into his next class, he found this term more difficult as the they we're new to Lightsaber Combat, this was his first time wielding a lightsaber in a class full of his friends. Though he did catch on pretty quick and learned to adapt to his new teachings by studying with his friend in the archives, Valo and his friend became the best in his class at wielding that lightsaber and deflecting probe blasts.

Moving on up:

He eventually mastered the Youngling stage and was then moved up the ranks into the Initiate class’s making more friends, and meeting girls that liked him for who he was, but he had studied the Jedi Code very carefully and refused to go into a serious relationship with anyone that ‘loved’ him, he made himself say an oath so that he could not love anyone due to his friend being exiled when he was caught kissing and generally sleeping together in a non-sexual way, even harsh as this sounds he will still exiled and Valo was disrupted by his best friend leaving, however Valo had to put aside his emotion and continue on his path to become a Jedi, after taking this oath he found it very hard to deal with and was at breaking point until one master named Ryssa Chinzano who wished to take Valo as her padawan, she asked the council and spoke to Valo about it, but the council believed he wasn’t ready, though she trialled him anyway, making him build his first saber:

His next step of his trials was to recite the Jedi Code to Ryssa, he did this quite easily as he had studied it carefully as a Initiate:
’There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the force, Master.’

He was so far on his way to becoming a Padawan under Master Ryssa Chinzano, but his last part of the trial was yet to come, He was to be sent on a mission of a certain amount of danger and help out in the situation at hand, Ryssa knew the perfect mission to send him on, there was an attack due at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, and Ryssa and Valo travelled there to help fortify the defences there, when the attack came it happened in stages, the drop pods smashed into the enclave in a different part.

Out of the smoke came red saber wielding Sith who wished to crush any Jedi that were in the area, there was a group of 5 Jedi padawans being led by a Jedi Knight, Valo joined this group and charged into the arising smoke and into battle, the battle waged many hours and many Jedi were killed, there was as much Sith that died as the Jedi but the Jedi had more in numbers.

Valo eventually met up with Master Ryssa and we’re separated from the main group, they were surrounded from all sides by the Sith, a pause in the combat appeared and Valo pled to them, asking them to turn away from the dark path: ’Turn away from the darkside, it will only lead to your destruction!’.
Ryssa was impressed by this, but now was not the time... they all refused to redeem themselves and instead decided to attack, Valo raised his saber remembering his training from back on Coruscant, he then paused awaiting the first move from the Sith, the attack eventually came and Valo dodged this attack swiping him down the back, the sith fell to the ground and more attacked him in a result, this duel lasted for a good 15 minutes and Valo slowly tired and became weaker by the minute, eventually Valo’s defence was smashed open and he was about to be struck down until his master blocked the saber, whilst using the force to knock him back, while this was happening Ryssa’s original opponent took a swing at her and the arm she held her lightsaber in fell to the floor, she looked at her severed arm in horror.

She then screamed in pain and Valo was on his own verses two other remaining Sith, could he do it? Valo then circled Ryssa in a defensive manner and waited for their strike, eventually it came once more and Valo dodged this attack again and grabbed him in a head lock whilst using his free hand to slash at the sith to his rear, Valo eventually managed to cut the young Acolyte down and resumed bashing his hit into the sith whos head was still locked, he managed to knock the sith out and carry Ryssa to safety.

7 Years Later:

Valo was now 26 and he had finally reached the Jedi Knight rank, he had earned it after many impressive missions, which showed the council that he was a true Jedi and followed the Jedi code correctly, he had taken many apprentices and trained many classes, he even trained Kelborn Koda when he was 6 in a youngling class, but this was only temporarily, however after Kelborn moved on from being a youngling to a Initiate they never met again.

Two years before, Valo had witnessed his old master Ryssa be tortured infront of him and then shortly after murdered by a Sith Knight, she went by the name of Xay’lia Selese. Valo at first sought to get revenge but was then swayed back onto the right path by his friend, Ubbal Gosular.



Ubbal went on many missions with Valo, most were successful but there was a minority that were failures, they became close friends after Valo had caught Ubbal in a secret relationship with his apprentice, Demaia Korne. Ubbal begged Valo not to inform the council of their relationship which would result in Ubbal being exiled, but eventually Demaia informed the council because of her guilt and they were both exiled, Ubbal was enraged by this and fell to the darkside even with Valo’s support, for some unknown reason in Ubbal’s anger he blamed Valo for this and decided to attack him in a rage. Valo begged him not to continue down the dark path but Ubbal wouldn’t listen, he continued to attack and Valo was forced to defeat him and have him locked up in the Jedi temple until his connection to the force was cut.

Valo was then appointed as a temporary Master because there was a shortage of masters due to many sith attacks on the Jedi Temple’s across the galaxy, his wisdom and combat skills proved to the council he was ready to become a fully fledged Jedi Master, a few months later he was called to the Jedi Council and they converted him from knight to master.

I swear to the power of the light, these sith who continue to attack our order out of spite will be cast out, and brought to justice. – Valo Aesho.
