Descending from a family of champions in the gladiator arenas, Voss Lar was trained to defend himself in hand-to-hand, sword, and ranged combat. He did not follow his family into the arena, but travelled to the Core to become a member of the Hunter's Association. Starting out he hunted only the small game stuff, but as he gained more income he developed further in his skills, taking advantage of his natural ability to fly. Soon independent of public transport, he gathered more bounties, faster. After thirteen years he was made an Elite Bounty Hunter, and purchased a wealth of new weapons and items.
