History: Upon being born he was transported to the Jedi temple, where he was given to the Younglings Master. He was there tutored and brought up in the ways of the Jedi, proving to be an exceptionally bright and powerful student. However, due to his frequent success and his preference to working alone many of the other students found him arrogant and so frequently bullied him. Although after growing up he no longer had to withstand them, he is very close to the dark side due to the rage inside him that he stored and hid from his younger years.
As a padawan he again proved his abilities by defeating (mostly though luck and his enemy's overconfidence) a Sith knight who ambushed him while his Master was occupied. He has been well-tutored in duelling, partially due to his master's combativeness and due to his disinterest in using the force over his physical abilities. As he grew older he became obsessed with Zero Shift and so and his master devoted their lives to finding a weakness in the technique. While they grew a large following among other Jedi, the research ended in disaster after a Sith assault caught Jerod and his master by surprise and in a furious duel his master was killed whilst attempting their anti-Zero Shift lightsaber form. Jerod managed to escape with minor scarring however the following of their research diminished and, while some Jedi still believe in a possibility of such a form, Jerod alone researches it.
Through his heroic actions and his master's death, Jerod became a Jedi Knight fairly young and went on to lead several successful missions to repel the Sith. His strength and success rate have made him a target for Sith Assassins; he has foiled 4 attempts on his life and was once saved from death by a timely Jedi Master. Despite this, a well-known Bounty Hunter attempted to collect his head. Unknowingly to either combatant, the duel was recorded on a holovideo and later released via the holonetwork. It was ended quickly as the Bounty Hunter was cut down by Jerod. Partially due to the video, other Bounty Hunters avoided the bounty, which led to several being hunted down by the Guild's enforcers and eventually the bounty was removed. His progress in power has been rapid and the council are considering him as a candidate to rise to Jedi Master status.
He has never broken the Jedi code, however once he was warned about his stockpile of rage by his master as he began to draw on it to help him fight the Sith. Afterwards, his master taught him to use Vaapad as an outlet of his anger.
